Struggling to Love: Feeling Like a Burden

Hello! Recently I have been feeling like I can’t fall in love. I’m not saying I can’t but if I really have a partner which I do I feel like I’m a burden because they get me, and my medical bills. Thoughts?

Just because you can’t love one person, doesn’t mean you can’t love. You can prove this to yourself by looking at other relationships even if it’s just with a pet. If you can love a pet then you can love anyone - but not everyone (no one can love everyone)

I’m not saying that I want to love more then one person, I’m saying that I feel bad when people love and care about me bc I’m always in surgery or not knowing when a last seizure could be.

You are more than your medical issues. If someone only sees you as a burden then that person isn’t worthy of your love
