Struggling to Lose Weight Despite Exercise and Diet Changes

When I started exercising in August of 2021, I was 216 pounds. Now, in June I'm at 190 and have seemed to plateau. I work out almost every day and have cut down on caloric intake, but can't lose anymore weight.

I've been going to the gym for almost a year now, and I have a schedule for different muscle groups, recovery days, etc., so I don't think it's me neglecting a particular muscle group. I also maintain the recommended protein intake for my weight and body fat percentage, so I don't know if it's a crucial detail I'm missing in terms of exercise and diet, or if it's something medical.

You probably want to look at what kind of workouts you're doing. Your body will get used to certain workouts, so it's good to switch it up. Also, the core type of workout matters too (cardio, weight training, etc). Whatever your normal workout routine is, try switching it up. Also, make sure you're not missing out on any muscle group. Your core is the most important, but don't neglect legs, shoulder, etc. I'm not a workout expert by any means, but I used to be in prison with people who did nothing but workout constantly, do I got to see what worked and what didn't
