Struggling to Get a Diagnosis: Need Advice

What's the best way to find out what condition I have? I'm struggling to get anywhere with the doctors (In the UK) and the symptoms are getting hard to manage. Main symptoms right now are: Dizziness, pain especially in the legs, headaches, general fatigue and vision problems

Could be anything from IIHWOP to lipoedema to Fibro to Vertigo or a combination of different factors. If you can afford to save up for one maybe consult a one off private consultation for advice and next steps? Sucks that it's come to that resort though. Just keep pushing for answers even though it is tiring 🫶🏻

Get a second opinion if you can, my primary care told me everything was fine and if I'm still in pain come back in a year. My second opinion is a chiropractor, nutritionist, and MD, and she looks at thyroid tests differently and today she diagnosed me with the earliest stages of hashimoto's disease

possibly do a e-consult if possible, they have to respond, at most, by the end of the week (usually in 48/72 hours) this is how I got an appointment because they want to se eme in person

could also be fibromyalgia? i don’t get dizziness but I get crackin headaches that make me feel nauseous, and pain everywhere with certain areas worse on certain days, im knackered all the time and i’ve noticed my vision has been way worse when it comes to adjusting to distances

fibro is more nervous system pain like unexplained extreme pain in places in the body not just headaches so I’d doubt it

fibro is one I've considered before as this has been going on for a long time, but I need to look into the condition more as I don't know much about it

Can you get the results of your tests? My thyroid was "normal" for years only because the normal range is very broad. It was not normal for me. See if you can't find trends. A pattern of change, even in the normal range can give clues. Also, what about blood pressure? Any possibility of migraines? Dizziness and leg pain makes me think circulatory.

I'm going to try and get hold of all my test results so I can look through them. My blood pressure always comes out as normal, I get migraines with an aura every so often and circulatory could be very possible so something else I'll have to look into further. Especially as the circulation in my hands and feet is very poor.

i was gonna suggest thyroid tbf, for the vision problems definitely get an eye test, even if it just rules out something with the eyes, but they can spot tumours and all sorts in an eye test- not to scare you and say it could be that just an example

Just make an appointment tell them all your symptoms and the timeline and ask them to run blood tests and help eliminate what it could be

I've had several bloodtests at this stage, they tell me everythings fine and are reluctant to do anything else. So I'm just wondering if there's more I can do either to get them to look into possibilities or whether there's more I can do myself to find out the problem.

Yes and no, the scales say I'm heavier but I look the same as when I was around 15kg lighter
