Struggling to Find a Job with Chronic Pain

I lost my job recently and I'm looking for a new one but I'm struggling. because of my chronic pain I have trouble being on my feet for an extended period of time, and other physical activities are also difficult. I was working at a bakery and it was really difficult for me. idk what kind of job I can get where I won't have to be as physical, and I'm afraid that since I don't really have a diagnosis I'll be forced to do things that hurt and I won't be able to say I can't do that because I don't have "proof." any advice on how to navigate/what kind of jobs are out there that could fit my needs?

See if your state provides SSI assistance for disability. You can include any fatigue, stress, or other mental conditions that go hand in hand with your pain. If your state does have it and you are accepted they can pay for everything you need to get better and get back on your feet so you can get a job. First make sure you see a doctor that will prescribe you with your condition and have them write out a letter of proof for you including mental conditions. That will be needed for the process. If you do get these benefits do not share this with anyone. Also if you do get it look into some kind of renters assistance or financial assistance too. I wish you the best

I have similar pain, it took me 10 years to get my disability because of my age. Sad when people think you're just lazy and not in actual pain. Don't give up

Don't stop trying to get the help you need. Ask for the test even if you have to do the research and tell your doctor the test you want.

I strongly suspect that I have fibromyalgia which there weren't really any tests for, my doctor himself said he thinks I have it but he doesn't want to actually diagnose me
