Struggling to Eat: Need Help!

I’m having such a hard time eating this week I’m not sure what to do. And I have no money to go food shopping so all I have is what’s in the house. I’m struggling to get any food in without feeling sick or like I can’t touch it at all. Do you have any tips to help me

For me eating with other people helps. Even if it's over the phone simply having a repeating cycle of eating (even if it's hard at first or if you can just drink water) getting on a routine can help. When I live completely alone is when my ARFID is the worst. So then I focus on safe foods. One of my main ones is Tuna but my safe food list changes frequently depending on if I have a bad experience with a food or if it just suddenly becomes not a safe food. Apple sauce also is generally good for me. I wish you luck 💕

When I'm too scared to eat, I just try to find my "safe" foods and eat small amounts in hopes it won't effect me much. My go to is 1/3 of a banana. If I have more than that I tend to get some pretty bad cramps. My safe food list isn't so safe anymore for me but my behaviorist told me I am now hypersensitive from starving myself for so long. I have IBS, among other things and was diagnosed with ARFID in January but I have finally noticed that most of my problem stems from my anxiety. Deep breathing or meditating before and/or after eating can help. I also take THC gummies to help with pain and appetite. Hopefully you can find something small to at least snack on. :)
