Struggling to Cope with the Loss of My Pet Bunny

I can’t get over the loss of my pet bunny back in April. Everything reminds me of him and I cry feeling like his death was my fault. I hold my stuffed bunny and pretend it’s him. I just can’t get over it.

I had a mouse who I loved but went on vacation and my mom forgot he was in my room (home from college). I was devastated. He died from no water. It breaks my heart. And my old Smokey cat was 15 he was my best friend. I have some regrets.. but it's best not to fester on them because they are in a better place. They forgive you. You gave them the best life possible, I can tell because you care so much. I cried about my cat the other day and it's been 3 years. Might get his paws tattooed draped over my shoulder where he would always get comfortable. I can still feel him near. Those are the best memories. Make your heart warm and try to focus on those things that make your heart smile about them :) love you!

Even if it was your fault... you can make it up to bunny by getting another one and making this one's life even better :) you got the power. And bunny is in a happy place.

it wasn’t my fault and I don’t want another bunny. This comment didn’t help at all. Please don’t comment on my stuff ever again.

I understand exactly how you feel I had a betta fish name lemon and he was my best friend and we had a close bond together when I was sad he just knew I was upset when he died I was so devastated I was so upset and angry I blame myself sometimes for his death to but don't blame yourself for something that's out of your control same goes for me too it's going to be okay and I'm sorry for your loss and you are an amazing friend to him that cared so much about he will never forget about what you did for him and he loves you very much you gave him a home and I feel he was happy to be apart of your life
