The Struggle of Getting Diagnosed with Hemiphlegic Migraines

So how is it that the doctors tell you you have to be experiencing a hemiphlegic migraine in order to be diagnosed, but it's damn near impossible for the single parents that don't drive to be able to do so? It took me years of convincing my aunt of my condition until she finally decided to take my word for it and bring me to the doctor when I couldn't even form words. If I was able to be examined beforehand, I would've been saved years of anxiety and panic and pain
