Strattera and Painful Bowel Movements: Any Advice?

I’m taking a medication called strattera (atomexitine) for adhd/autism executive dysfunction. I started and then forgot to take and am now back on. Both times initially starting I had a weird (tmi) bowel movement that was painful, anxiety inducing, and made me intensely sweaty and flushed. I never have this kind of pain or discomfort usually. Does anyone have experience with this?

When I took stratera I had an extreme insensitivity to heat. It made me so dizzy! And it didn’t help with my anxiety like my adderall does, but it didn’t make my anxiety any worse either but that’s just me personally. My therapist at the time got mad when I decided to get off of stratera and try different meds cause she thought I was med seeking, which was really frustrating. But if you’re having these side effects it’s definitely worthwhile to try and decrease the dose or switch meds.

This literal EXACT same thing happened to me. Heat intolerance, anxiety, therapist getting mad I got off that med... Yeah if you're having these kinds of side effects it's best to get off those meds
