anyone have advice on stopping skin picking? it makes me feel so ugly

      seroquel is the only med that has helped me get my skin picking under control but the con is I have to sleep 10hrs on it. i also hold a stress ball or squishy when i watch tv and getting gel manicures helps too. when i’m broke i even put on press ons, makes it harder to pick and makes me more conscious of it

      think of it as replacing the habit instead of stopping it. putting tape on paper and picking/peeling it off, pulling or plucking fidget toys are around now too usually plastic. you can peel glue off your hands, keep track of what things work and you’ll end up finding more tricks to help stop picking. it’s all about occupying that part of your mind that needs to be fidgeting with something less destructive🙃 good luck!
