      @Starr1952 that's what I had done. I was born with a bicuspid aortic heart valve. They found it while examining my aneurysm. I also chose the artificial valve over the natural one.

      I don’t know about strokes but I had a heart valve replacement so I will be on warfarin the rest of my life but that was my choice. Just stick to whatever your doctor says. They probably just don’t want to risk having another stroke. If you’re prone to strokes you may have to take it forever but that’s not a bad thing.

          @Myy wow yeah, if you're prone to strokes, it's probably a good idea to stay on them. Just watch those greens!
