How to Stop Picking at My Hair?

I had a 14 month no-pull streak that ended three weeks ago, the app Slightly Robot (a hair pull counter) really opened my eyes to how much I pull. The only thing that got me to completely stop was to find the hairs that I typically like to pull and break it off as close to the route as possible so that it keeps growing but I can’t get a grip on it

I talked to my psychiatrist and got put on ocd medicine and it really helped me I went from the whole top half of my head being bald to then cutting it all short and regrowing and my pulling has severely decreased some things that have helped me have been long nails to make it harder to grip and coupled with the short hair that’s already hard to grip it’s been a wonder combination for me!
