Should I Stop Maladaptive Daydreaming?

Is maladaptive daydreaming something I should be trying to stop? And Is it even possible? Because I feel like it isn’t

Depends on how much you find yourself daydreaming. Is it when you are supposed to be focused? If so then yes, maybe try and stop it. Is it when you are alone and have nothing really to do? Then no, it's fine. It is possible to train yourself not to slip into a daydream. Though it would need some outside help like a therapist and sometimes that doesn't work.
