One way you can try and stop being hard on yourself is realizing what key words in your sentences is so harsh. For me, it's the word "should" I often say "I should have done better" or "I should know better" That word is very degrading and a self put down. So instead of saying "should" when in the process of healing and learning, I say that I deserve better. Praise myself for trying my best, but figure out what I can do better next time. And not in a degrading manner. Everyone makes mistakes, and everyone has things to improve on. Never give up on yourself in your journey. ✨️
