I’m not sure if this is going to make any sense, but I was put on a steroid pack for a few days for horrible allergies, but the steroids helped so much with pretty much everything I experience and I’m wondering what that means? I felt so much energy and my depression lifted, my constant IBSD symptoms were so much better, my back hurts less, my skin even cleared up. I’m wondering if I have some sort of inflammation problem and the steroids helped with that? If anyone has any insight or knowledge about this that would be awesome!

Steroids like methylprednisolone can indeed provide relief from a variety of symptoms, including pain, inflammation, and even some mental health issues. However, they are not typically used for long-term treatment due to potential side effects such as bone depletion. It's possible that your positive response to the steroid pack could indicate an underlying inflammatory condition, but you should consult with your doctor for a definitive diagnosis and treatment plan.
