Looking for experiences with Stelara medication

first time user, prescribed Stelara for about a year now. inflammation has reduced but still feel pain sometimes. anyone using stelara - would love to know your experience.

Welcome! I was on Stelara for a while; it worked some for me but unfortunately didn’t put me into remission. That’s a strange aspect of IBD; some medications work for some patients but not others, likely depending on the differences in what is driving your inflammation. I would encourage you to stay in touch with your GI provider and ask about what markers (fecal calprotectin, colonoscopy, etc) should be monitored to make sure you are in remission on Stelara, vs if other therapies might be more effective. 🤗
