Starting Trulicity tomorrow, need advice on side effects

Going to be starting Trulicity tomorrow. How do you like this med? What side effects do you have? And I want the good the bad and the UGLY, please! Not sure what to expect. I have prediabetes and my doc also wants me to take it to help with weight loss for my fatty liver.

Severe reactions, but bc it kept my bs at 6.0 Dr wanted me on it. I told him how sick I got. Threw up every day. Lost weight easily on it. But bece severely depressed bc of how much it affected my life. It's not a long term solution. I ended up with iron transfusions, osteoporosis, early menopause I believe due to the stress, but the real kicker was wet macular edema. If you have diabetic retinopathy DO NOT TAKE they came out in 2021 to say it can make it worse. Too bad for me on it for 7 years, and just found out I have wet macular edema. What use to cause diabetic blindness. That drug is being marketed inappropriately and super expensive, in my opinion. Should only be given under the most extreme cases and only if the person can tolerate it.

I started trulicity with injections of 0.75mg and my doctor raised it to 1.5mg weekly. These injections are really helpful to weight loss. They caused my diarrhea and nausea when i started taking them.

there ended up being an issue with insurance coverage of course so I haven't tried yet. I'm hoping I can still find something or somehow get the trulicity approved in appeals. Did the nausea and diarrhea subside at all or is it more of a constant thing?
