Starting Trulicity for Diabetes: Any Tips?

I am going to start the injectable Trulicity. I have been taking metformin since 2019 and I thought it would be nice not having to take pills every day. Also my doctor said it will help with some weight loss too. Anyone on using Trulicity? How do you like it?

I take victoza and it helped me tremendously. I have lost at least 40 pounds and now my A1c is pre diabetic.

I was diagnosed in 2020 & have only been given a few different meds to try. Let me know how it goes for you. I've seen some info on that meds and plan to mention it to my new diabetic dr the next time i see them.

Anyone else taking this much? I don’t want to go to the insulin shot, what is the highest dosage that is given of Medformin before they start putting you on insulin shots?

Domagoha: I was put on 1000 mg to start with. I had a bad reaction and it made my sugar go down into the 20-30s. So it was stopped . I had been doing ketogenic, but was recently dx with Gastroparesis and had to stop the diet. Now my sugar is back out of control and will have to look at meds again.
