I am starting therapy for my anxiety and depression but that is making me nervous and I'm having a hard time eating and sleeping.. I want to be happy and get better. I just feel pretty alone right now..

      Starting is definitely one of the hardest parts. I have dealt with general anxiety disorder and panic disorder on and off for the last eight years, for me I tend to have really good long stretches where it’s treated and pretty much gone then I will have flareups or like a really bad month or two. I’m actually in the middle of one right now. Having to make changes to medication and therapy can be anxiety inducing enough. I have to remind myself that when I am currently under the influence of anxious thinking that I’m not usually looking at things with the best mindset. Sounds like you’re on a really healthy track, during hard times I find it best to slow down and take it one day at a time. I know it’s an overused expression, but if I start thinking too much about how I felt yesterday or worrying about how I’m gonna feel tomorrow it usually ruins my current day.
