Starting Saxenda tomorrow, need advice on side effects

Picking up Saxenda tonight, plan to start in the morning. Terrified of stabbing myself and dunno if I'll be able to. But my insurance won't cover the original med prescribed. What are the side effects y’all have? Please, please share the good, the bad and the ugly. Really need to know what to expect! How is it with the needle/how did you feel about needles before?

It’s really not that bad. Don’t despair. The needle is tiny compared to normal injection needles. Take courage. It’s worth it. I’ve lost 65 pounds on this. 🤗

Ahh no nervous. But good to hear about the size. I’m sure the theory of it is scarier than the actual real thing. And damn! That's a lot of weight! So fabulous for you! I def need to lose that and more. How long have you been on it? Do you have any stomach side effects?

I purchased this online then when I saw the side effects, 100% not worth it for me. I have children to think of. Thyroid and pancreatic cancer mutations in cells, do some research before u decide what to do.

I was terrified of the needles. And I scheduled a Dr appt so they could show me how to do it. I put the needle cap on and saw the needle and I was super surprised. It was tiny. Like the cut-down pinky nail of an adolescent. Teeny tiny! I personally don't feel the needle go into my belly. But also I do have tattoos if that is relevant at all.
