Starting New Psych Meds, Need Advice

So my psychiatrist is having me start new meds I’m scared nervous about taking them I’ve been med free since 2016 on my own they think now I’ve been misdiagnosed with a lot of things so there starting me on Prozac and Vistaril anyone else take these good? bad? Anything I should watch for?

The major thing is to watch your irritability. Unfortunately mental health meds are gambles, along with hit and misses; but you can always keep in touch with your doctor, ask and tell them anything about how you feel while taking new meds weather its mental or physical. You got this! It's a process but it's worth it to feel better.

Prozac can make your anger worse. If you have a history of bouts of anger, you'll want to work on anger management more.

I take Prozac. I have been taking it since 2011 at the age of thirteen and it's helped my life a lot. Also try lactimal. It helps too. I understand what you are going through
