Starting Immunotherapy for Melanoma: Need Advice

Getting ready to start immunotherapy opdivo May 31st, 2022 I need to have 1 treatment a month 13 treatment total. Had melanoma on my calf which was surgery removed with open wound and 1 lymp node removed in groin and it had 0.6 cancer cell detected in lymph node.

Good luck xx I had Nivolumab/Opdivo in Dec 2018, every 2 weeks for a year xx

I had melanoma on my forearm in 2011, but my sentinal node biopsy was negative. It presented like a blister about the size of a pencil eraser. Ive since had basal cell removed from my nose. I think it may be due to tanning beds.

Ohhhh what we do to our body to look good?!! I had malignant melanoma in 2003, gratefully, it was in situ and was easily cut out. Of course, I grew up in Sunny So. Cal, & used to use “CRISCO” (as in baking grease!) as a tanner! AND, in addition, I used tanning beds, ( the kind from the mid 80’s-90’s, not ‘safer’ beds that they have nowadays ********************************* SOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOT RECOMMENDED! ********************************* I have a litany of illnesses, syndromes, and dis-eases, but Malignant melanoma isn’t one of them,… Wishing U all, a wealth of health!
