Has anyone tried St. John's wort for depression?

Hi. I was wondering has anyone used St. John's wort to help with depression? If so, did it work well? I've been going through a lot of stress for the last 7 months. I feel so hopeless, trapped in this situation and I really have no energy. Thank you to anyone that answers my question.

      I've never tried it because it interacts really badly with a lot of medications, so make sure you check any problems with any meds you take- I'd ask a pharmacist where you get your meds if you take any

      I try st. John wort but it didnt help me but i think thats cause of havong more then depression. I have schizophrenia
