Dealing with SSRI-induced sexual dysfunction

are there ways to combat delayed climax and difficulty reaching orgasm due to SSRI'S? Prozac has killed my sex life and I don't know if something like Wellbutrin might work better.

Everyone is different, this definitely is a question for your psychiatrist and not the internet

while I agree they should talk with their psychiatrist, I don't see an issue in asking others who take these kinds of medications for recommendations as long as they follow up these questions and ask their psychiatrist too. This site offers medication recommendations as one of the posting potions, so it is indeed an allowed question for the internet.

I would like to know too. Wellbutrin caused me to have increased psychogenic non epileptic seizures for me, but Lexapro is KILLING my sex drive and it takes me over an hour to climax sometimes so I definitely feel your frustration! I haven't had sex with fiancée in a couple weeks because I dread the fact that I take forever/don't always finish. Trying to find something else that will work for me and not cause these issues.

I was prescribed Wellbutrin for the same problem. It worked very well for me the only reason I got off of it was because it was causing me to be angry all the time. Besides that side effect, it worked great!

I don’t know about Wellbutrin, but I am on Trintellix and Vraylar and then haven’t messed with my sex life at all. They were specifically designed not to! Might be worth looking into if your psychiatrist thinks it could be a good fit
