Struggling with Sports Anxiety

Currently I'm playing softball for my school and my anxiety has been getting in the way. I've tried breathing exercises, attempted to boost my self confidence, and much more but it hasn't been working. I feel like my therapist has tried everything without success. I truly have no clue what to do and now I'm even considering quitting, despite my love for sports. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do? I'm completely lost.

I know it's hard when anxiety gets in the way of us doing what we love. Yes activities are important, but they are not nearly as important as your well being. I suggest you try voicing your concerns to your coach if possible and having a designated time in the day where you take time for yourself. If that still doesn't work, take a break from sports for a little bit and rest, and when you're ready to stand up, be sure you stand even taller and stronger than before. You can do this! You are capable! You are strong! ❤️

Im so proud of you for stayimg strong. I understand how draining this can be. Don't give into this battle, stay strong. I quit for a year for similar reasons. And GOSH i have missed it! I realized how giving in made things worse for me. Since i wasnt pushing myself, i got more anxious for smaller things. I am joiming again this year and i am here for you. Let me know if you ever need to talk!
