Effectiveness of Spironolactone for PCOS Symptoms

how long did it take for Spironolactone to start helping with PCOS symptoms and how effective is it? I've been only on it a few weeks and mainly using to to regulate cycles and excessive hair growth.

I don't remember how long it took to work but definitely saw that over time the excessive hair growth was much less
