I have this all the time. Usually when I'm stressed/in therapy or discussing my issues or when I'm comfortable with someone and therefore put less effort into control how I'm percieved

yes! when I get panic attacks I would develop symptoms like stuttering. At the time I didn’t know that I had a panic disorder and FND. I had gone to the hospital after a panic attack. Since the stuttering stayed with me for days. I also was super weak and could not really walk. When I went to the hospital they just said that I had a panic attack and have me a sedative. They prescribed me the sedative for when I get panic attacks. I still get them when I have FND “ episodes “ and last a day or 2. Definitely have improved since the stuttering would last for more than 5 days and no one would understand me. It was hard but I got through it!! If you want to reach out pls do!! sending love 💗
