Some people with diabetes see an endocrinologist but for most it’s not necessary if you have a good primary care doctor. My regular doctor tests my A1C every 3 months. My previous doc checked me twice a year. Education is the best weapon. I’ve been happy with the One Drop app for tracking my sugars and getting advice.

Your family doctor can manage your diabetes, but it’s very recommended to see a nutritionist as well
