Somatic Issues Due to Mental Illness

Does anybody else feel like they get just various somatic issues due to mental illness? Went through heart palpitations that got worse until it kind of just faded to not a problem. I feel like I get dizzy and headache when tired which is basically just by standing up and doing the smallest thing. Currently procrastinating on seeing a doctor for my gastrointestinal issues because I dread having to explain symptoms and going through uncomfortable tests. I know I really should eventually but I can’t help but feel that every physical symptom is just somehow a manifestation of my depression with a side of anxiety. My psych person is aware of my situation so it’s not an emergency situation. I try to keep a food diary but it’s hard for my depression brain to be consistent and I’ve seen no trends. But it’s just an extra pain to exist with the constant bloating and constipation or strange bowel movements.

I go through the same thing... I work myself up and feel like I'm having a heart attack. My husband has been helpful when I have my panic attacks. I'm not sure if it's just panic attacks with my chest hurting almost constantly but stress makes it way worse... Also have gastro issues and a liver that's not functioning right and I'm sure most of my issues come from being depressed. I'm bad about going to the doctor, as well, only because I'm made out to be crazy for how I'm feeling... I was trying to tell him everything I was having issues with and was told to see a psychiatrist 🙄 Kidney issues have nothing to do with me being depressed... Basically being told I'm crazy makes me not want to see a doctor. I had a baby 4 1/2 months ago and pretty sure I have worse depression because of it.
