Looking for Softer Chewing Alternatives to Chewelry

Any suggestions on chewing items similar to chewing necklaces, but softer? Right now I chew on/hold on my mouth the neck of my t shirts and not only is it wearing out my t shirts, I hate the wet feeling of it on my neck. Sorry if this is TMI! Just looking for an alternative that’s not as hard as chewelry
