Anyone tried Slynd for PMDD?

Does anyone have any experience with the progesterone based birth control Slynd? I went to a new OBGYN, and she prescribed that to me with the hopes that it would balance out my progesterone levels, and deal with my wildly fluctuating emotions. Anxiety all over the place, depression all over the place, and very unreliable periods. I'm just wondering if anybody else has tried this to help with their PMDD, and how it worked out for you? Literally just took my first dose tonight, so I guess we'll see what happens.

My doctors just started me on 200 mg of Progesterone. It’s only been a few days. I’m hoping that it will help. Be mindful that it does make you very sleepy, so take a bedtime.

thanks for letting me know. I used to take progesterone, about 15 years ago, but my doctor at the time decided that I didn't need to anymore. This is only a 4 mg a day dosage, but my doctor seemed optimistic that it should help. She said that if it does not, then we can see what else we can do.

I tried progesterone but couldn't take it. I was very angry and stressed.
