YouTube asmr, the app “loóna”, or meds. Alternate trazodone and unisom cuz I get a tolerance. Melatonin does not work for me

I realized I couldn't sleep because I distracted myself from my issues all day and had to think through them all at night. Now I give myself a few hours, usually while I'm eating, to think about what's happening with my life and it's helped me fall asleep in half the time

Me too. I use amitriptyline occasionally and that helps a lot. Other than that I use CBD or THC and listen to some relaxing music and snuggle with my dog until I fall asleep. The hardest thing that helps me the most is when you can’t sleep DO NOT open your phone and go on the infinite scroll… I’ve stayed up till 3 am on accident just scrolling and scrolling. Instead of using my phone which is a struggle sometimes I will put my attention on my dog, or just watch my axolotl vibe in the tank until I get sleepy

I’ve been struggling with this more recently too but for me taking melatonin, listening to calm music or guided meditations, smoking weed, reading, and doing yoga/stretching are some things that have helped :)

Guided meditations, podcasts, music without voice (like video game music or instrumentals) reading, audiobooks, basically anything that produces sound I can focus on instead of my thoughts.

I have found I like listening to voices. Either a guided meditation or a book on tape or a quality podcast. It’s like being told a bedtime story. Most apps have a sleep timer on them. For supplements I like to drink OMG Magnesium like an hour before bed.

Melatonin helps me, but I also sit on FaceTime with someone and they’ll end the call once I fall asleep been doing it for a few weeks now and it has really helped me.
