Has anyone been put to sleep for a chiro adjustment? I was in a car accident in December and messed up my back real bad and they want to put me to sleep to do an adjustment.

      @Scarlet9904 if it wasn’t for the hyper mobility I wouldn’t be worried

        @ThunderBeetle it’s a thing not very common

      If they wanna put you out that sounds more like they're trying to reduce things that are out of place that will be super painful. I haven't heard of chiropractors doing it, though. Mostly orthopaedic surgeons

        @Shallan yeah the chiropractor I see handles all sorts of trauma cases only three in my state qualified for what he does

      I don’t think that’s normal? I’ve never heard of that, they don’t even have the medical experience to do that afaik

      Chiropractics is a psudoscience scam. They aren't real doctors, they don't go to medical school, and they have killed and paralyzed people. Go to a real doctor.

        @Crow123 this is a doctor I’m pretty sure he would be arrested by now if he wasn’t he is one of three in my state qualified to do what he does and he only handles trauma cases

      From what I understand with eds chiro adjustments aren't the best thing

      That...sounds...weird... Adjustments are generally quick, so putting you under sounds like it would be unnecessary. They have "gun" adjusters that are supposed to be less jarring that are used on me, but I would ask for a second opinion if I were in your shoes. That just sounds hinkey to me. 🤷‍♀️

        @Alyss I have gotten a second opinion I have three subluxed vertebrae after four months that haven’t gone back into place that’s why they want to put me under
