      I have had this happen to me. I just close my eyes and let my mind wonder and before I know it, Im asleep. Allow yourself to think about random things until they become dreams.๐Ÿ’• Best of luck

          @NiiTA Why are you afraid you won't wake up? Night terrors? Sleep apnea? Restless sleep? Or a general fear or idea stuck in your head? When my sleep apnea wasn't diagnosed as yet, I'd stop breathing in my sleep and sometimes I'd bolt upright, afraid, shouting, I don't want to die! Scary stuff. Every now and then I'm so focused on falling asleep that I can feel myself slipping into unconsciousness and it feels scary and i jerk awake. I crave sleep, however, because it's difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep and get enough sleep. I'm lying here now wondering if I should try to fall back but it's already 9:30am and my exercise morning, so I'm going to get up. Didn't quite get my 8 hours. I use a free sound app for sleep called Tide. It's great, tells you when you get asleep, wake up, were in deep and light sleep, for how long, quality of sleep, and you can mix different sounds. I like various sounds of water/rain even thunder storms with lightning. I use a sleep mask with Bluetooth earphones (Amazon). Why are you afraid? Maybe we can help if we know a little more.

          @NiiTA usually when im afraid of whats going to happen in the morning i act as if im going to sleep and plan my day out from when i wake up to when I go to sleep the next day, try to think about every intricate detail, the time you feel youre gonna wake up, what you do when you first get up ect. to make it even better you can envision yourself falling asleep and the dreams youre going to have. if that doesnt help, you can stay up if you can, although it isnt ideal, if you stay up, in the morning by the time you would usually wake up it may ease your worries knowing that everything wouldโ€™ve been okay as usual; good luck! i hope you sleep well!
