Skipping Bactrim dose for UTI treatment

just have a question that maybe someone could have an answer, I tried calling my pharmacy but he already left for the day, anyways, I was diagnosed today with having a UTI, my doctor prescribed me Bactrim antibiotic to take...I took one at 10am this morning and was wondering if it would be OK if I skipped tonight's dose and start taking it at 8 in the morning? The only reason for this is because I have to take it every 12 hours and I don't want to take it before bed because I have gerd and can't eat anything late at night and I have to eat taking Bactrim or I get horribly sick to my stomach

I would go to google and type Walgreens Pharmacy Chat. they have pharmacists that are able to answer any medical questions like this sort of thing for no cost on a live chat 24/7. It’s been super helpful for me. Posted a link incase needed. https://www.walgreens.com/rx-utility/pharmacychat
