i know it sounds weird but does anyone else pick at thier skin/acne when they're stressed or anxious. I do it for hours and my face/arms end up looking terrible 😩

Yup, any bump I find on my skin, or the skin of someone I care about (with consent ofc) is immediately evicted. Picking condition has a name, I just can’t remember what it is. Recently learned this was a thing that other people do.

I pick at the acne, skin on the corners of my nails and chew at the inside of my mouth and lips as well. I have scars from picking at scabs as well. It is something I really struggle with. Fidgets do help, though.

Yes my nose is currently red and full of craters. I did just purchase a pick and peel stone, so hopefully that helps

I pick my face and the skin off my lips. I pick at my skin around my fingernails and any bumps, scabs, or imperfections I find. I don’t know how common that is but I feel like it’s a pretty common anxiety response

M-hm. I pick at the skin around my fingernails, and the skin in my mouth. I have tons of ridges of scars all along my cheeks and lips.
