Dealing with Random Skin Itching and Hives

Hello about a year ago my skin started to itch and it’s random then would get red marks like hives . I thought it was dairy but not sure. If take Zyrtec if goes away . If I go into a thrift store I come out blotchy and itchy. Sometimes nights are so bad hard to sleep due to itchy
