Shoulder Pain from Sleeping with Arms Up

I’ve noticed I’ve been sleeping with my arms above my head lately and it’s cause super bad shoulder pain! I can’t lift my arm at all because it feels really weak. And it hurts to even move my arm. I looked up causes of sleeping with arms up and it said difficulty breathing, and possible sleep apnea. I’m only 20! I have been a little stuffy I guess. But this pain has been here for weeks and it’s bugging me! Any ideas on how to help with pain?

Definitely talk to your doctor about it, but in regards to relieving the shoulder pain (I sleep the same way) I have found yoga to help along with rubbing them with a magnesium rich lotion.
