Should I See a Therapist?

Those of you who see a therapist, do you recommend I do? I've always struggled with talking to people about traumas and I hate to ask for help, but I don't know if it would be beneficial or not?

i know that therapy helped me a lot. i had a therapist for about two years. i absolutely loved her and i learned a lot about my self and my mental health. i learned coping methods and what my triggers are. i moved out of state and no longer have a therapist. i often wish i still had one. therapy was very beneficial in my life. and you don't have to tell them your whole life story the first time you meet. take it slow so it doesn't feel overwhelming.
