I understand not wanting more meds. Even if you do receive a positive diagnosis though, you don’t have to take medication for it. Knowing would allow you to take other measures to improve your situation though. Maybe your doctor has a few tricks that they know for ppl with ADHD

The place where I go to get my medications asked me if I want to be tested for it. I don't know. I don't really want to be on even more meds

If you do choose to, make sure you go to a really good doctor! I actually got tested and the psychiatrist who tested me told me, “yes, you definitely have it, but because your parents can’t remember whether or not you showed any symptoms in childhood, we’re going to put it in your records that you can’t get medication for it..” Yea, ‘twas wild. 🙄

Sometimes I wonder if I have this too.
