Honestly, I keep my hair shorter because I genuinely don't like it touching me. It's not scalp pain or headaches. It's the ends of my hair touching my face, ears, and neck. It's irritating so the hair has to go away.

I use baby shampoo and conditioner. There’s a formula at Walmart that’s a bit on the pricey side, about $6-8 dollars a bottle. I don’t shampoo my hair daily otherwise my hair & scalp tend to dry- out. I also incorporate a regular baby shampoo ( Johnson & Johnson) in between to clarify any of build-up. Try that.
