I get a sharp stabbing pain in my right side middle of back. It may happen once a month twice a week but scares the heck out of me. It takes my breath away!! Should I be concerned?!
Do you mean twice a week for one month? I was wondering if it had something to do with your Menstrual Cycle, if you still have that, otherwise maybe you pulled a muscle? I'm no expert, have you discussed this with your medical staff? People can give their advice and opinions all they want. I just want to make sure get the correct information.
It could be your ovaries. Not saying it is, maybe you feel them in your neck, vs your front like me. I'm 42 and I get a crampy pain type feeling where my ovaries are 2 or 3 times a month. Usually I feel it mostly if I like pull in my lower abdomen, then I'll feel a dull pain. The feeling lasts anywhere from not very long to sometimes around 6 hours. They normally happen about a week before my period, and 3 or so days before my period starts. If you haven't been doing this already, write down the days you feel the pains, and how they feel. And maybe also write down what your cycle was for the month. If you end up going to the Dr. In the future this will also be helpful to show them.
