Severe Stabbing Pains in Lower Abdomen During Diverticulitis Attack

Does anyone have severe like stabbing pains in the lower abdomen (pelvic floor) when a diverticulitis attack occurs?

Yes it is!! I thought I was leaving this world the pain was so bad! I had a colonoscopy. Last Tuesday and was diagnosed with diverticulosis, IBS. I have suffered with frequenting the bathroom multiple times per morning! I M careful with what I eat and how much I eat.

Yes Lawd, So severe I break out in a bad sweat, get dizzy and weak... that spasm pain is worse than labor pain,

yes!! There have been times I’ve been lying on the bathroom floor saying ‘Jesus take me quick’. I also have endometriosis, so between the two - mamma mia.
