Severe Rib Pain with Fibromyalgia

Do many of you Fibro sufferers have sever rib pain. I get it so bad sometimes that it’s hard to breathe with the pain. I also have knots in my muscles all over my body that are extremely painful. My husband sometimes rubs them out until they release (if I can handle the pain king enough) and that gives me the most relief. My doc just says to deal with it.

I have them in my floating ribs usually and I have yet to figure out what to do- breathing is impossible and oddly if I bend over when it happens I can’t get back up? So I kind of go rigid and stand obnoxiously straight 🤣

yikes that sounds bad. I get it on all ribs but my floating rib will get displaced sometimes.

I can relate, and it's incredibly frustrating. I wish that our doctors could feel the pain we go through on a daily basis so they could understand how intense it is.

I’d be happy to just *bonk* one of these days so they start to understand 😂

I can definitely relate to this. For me it’s always my left rib.. it’s the weirdest thing ever. I sometimes feel like something is pressing up against it or something but it hurts a lot. I was laughing about something the other day and I heard something POP .. that just made the pain worse

Recommend trying sliding cupping Silicone cups, light suction. Cheap and easy to try. Available from anazon. Plenty of youtube tutorials.
