Need Help with Severe Neck Pain

Any recommendations of things that have helped with severe neck pain? I have a portable heating pad that lasts for about 1.5 hrs before it hasn’t to charge again, and it touches the pain a little bit. It’s the only thing, though, and it inevitably has to recharge sometimes. I’m exhausted and need a pain break so badly.

Do you know why you have the neck pain? the only thing that helps me is just rest. I don't know why I have the pain though, so I don't know how to treat it

, I had neck surgery as the bones in neck were giving away! Went through a twelve hr surgery plus 16 to 20 screws! It was after that surgery that slowly I started feeling intensified pain for 2 years until finally my primary Dr had a CT scan done and I had been walking around with a broken neck! So I guess what I'm saying is don't ignore your pain or in my case let the Drs ignore it as it could be life threatening in which my case it was! Just saying..............!
