Coping with Anxiety at Work as a Barista

How do you cope with anxiety at work? I’m a barista at Starbucks so I don’t really get time to stop, breathe, meditate, etc. but it’s a very stressful environment.

Sensory grounding is something that I’ve sometimes found helpful! Look for 5 things you can see, 4 you can hear, 3 you can touch, 2 you can smell. It still keeps you focused on your work/the task at hand while calming the anxiety at the same time

I’ve worked retail and had some anxiety issues while working. I always try to quickly ground myself when I get a chance. Any moment I’m not with a customer I’ll just take a deep breath and encourage myself to keep going. (Sometimes what keeps me going is how long until my break/ I get to leave) It’s a stressful time, but you’ll get through it.
