What works for me is rewarding myself for every little thing. Put laundry to washer? Reward. Put laundry to dryer? Reward. Put dirty dishes to dishwasher? Reward. Also it helps me to put time limit on it. Like okay, I'll clean for 15 min and then a break. Good luck, i believe in you ❤️ and think how nice you will feel in a clean room ❤️

One thing that helps me is getting someone else to come help or to come have a conversation with me while cleaning and usually I don’t even realize that I’m cleaning and for some reason this works. Also if I put on a show in the background it distracts me and I can clean. Starting small is a great point as well or just do one area of your house each day. ❤️

Put some music on, start slow and in one small area if you can. 🤗 Try to sort things to where they belong or rather with things they belong so you can take them there (dirty clothes in the basket, this in the dresser, this in the closet, these in the bathroom. . . ) Just be gentle with yourself. Wanting to fix it is just the first step, yeah, but it's an important one! If you feel like you can, you can ask for help, too, from a partner, friend, or family member. If you can afford it, get organizational things, like closet organizers, vacuum bags for linens and off-season clothes or clothes that don't fit anymore but you think might again, big plastic totes, 1' cubby totes, cubby or shelf unit, wall shelves, underbed storage containers (the large flat plastic ones that roll are nice), even boxes.
