Severe Abdominal Pain and Sciatica Shooting Pains

I'm really not sure what to say other than I'm pretty concerned about my health. I've been in nonstop severe pain (other than the chronic pain I already have) from my abdomen (for 13 days straight) and now it's migrated to my sides (side pain for about 4 days now). I keep feeling like my lower back/hips are locking up and my sciatica is going crazy shooting pains down my left leg. I just wish I could have answers but all my tests came back fine from my er trip on Christmas day, so now I'm completely clueless :/ it's getting too difficult to manage at this point and I can barely function. any advice?

I’m so sorry this is happening to you! I’m not sure what to do about the new acute pain but in terms of the more chronic pain, I recommend finding a PT who does abdominal work. That made a world of difference for me! Of course that only helps if nothing else is wrong. For me it turned out my pain was mostly tight muscles, so PT did a lot. Ketamine also really helped me, but I get it’s not an option for everyone! I also get lidocaine injections in my abdomen which help a lot. If you have more questions about what I did to help please feel free to message me!

Please check for inflammation in your bowel (faecal calprotectin stool test) and sacroilitis (STIR MRI). As your symptoms could be related to IBD and Ankylosing Spondylitis or other forms of arthritis.
