Need advice on transitioning from service dog to wheelchair

Hey, I use a service dog for medical alert and light Mobility. But I might be needing a wheelchair soon. I’m trying to get over the initial internalised ableism and just focus on figuring the whole process out… But there’s just SO MUCH the whole thing is pretty daunting! I thought it wouldn’t be a bad idea to hop on here and ask if any of y’all’ve been through something similar and/or had any tips?💚

I’ve got custom braces on all ankles and wrists, platform crutches, and a service dog. I feel like a fraud all the time despite so many specialist doctors and surgeries telling me it’s real. This stuff is hard. I hope you get through it

I’m working on the same sort of internalized ableism. The thing that’s helped me the most is watching youtube videos and tiktoks of people who use mobility aids talking about them and just living life. It’s helped normalize it for me and made me feel much more comfortable with my disabilities
