I have had FND now for about 2 years. Im very interested in looking into getting a service dog. I just met with my amazing doctor at Stanford yesterday, and he agreed it’s a great idea as part of my treatment and says it would help tremendously. In fact he has a lot of his patients that have service dogs and would be more than happy to write a letter if needed. So, I’m here to ask if anyone can help me navigate. Im interested in finding my service dog. Having her trained in helping with my condition, FND, so in epilepsy type training, and also support such as anxiety, etc. I live in Northern California area. Any type of information would be so great. Thank you in advance, Melissa

One user mentioned going through Doggie Do Good in Arroyo Grande, California for their service dog for FND. You may want to consider contacting them or other local organizations that specialize in training service dogs for epilepsy and anxiety support.
