Struggling with Sertraline Side Effects and Eating Disorder
I started taking sertraline again, I took it at night so I could sleep it off but I had stomach burning and nausea. I woke up in the middle of the night wide awake. I fell asleep and woke up. Got up to walk the dogs almost passed out in the road was taken to the ER. And now my stomach has been in pain all day. I also have an eating disorder and OCD with food. Mind you I don’t eat crackers or chicken noodle soup that they told me to eat but I had to eat them. My stomach was in so much pain. I was supposed to take it again tonight but I’m not going to and I’m going to force myself to be okay and act happy and try to eat normal foods on my own because I can’t do it with the medicine.

I had a stomach burning sensation after starting this medicine again after I stopped taking it consistently. It was a gut wrenching pain but i didnt have to go to the ER. It went away and now everything is normal

I don’t eat acidic foods because I have acid reflux really bad and I can’t have caffeine because of my anxiety. Does eating food after you take it not affect it the way it would eating before?

Could it be causing an ulcer? Maybe try taking it with food. And avoid caffeine and acidic foods for a bit?
